Women's Soccer Coaches
Drew Lenhardt
Head Coach

Drew Lenhardt enters his third season as head coach of the BenU Springfield women’s soccer program for the 2014-15 season. This is Coach Lenhardt’ s first head coaching position and is the second head coach in program history since joining the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

The last season for the women's program came with a few benchmarks. Coach Lenhardt and the Bulldogs made their first trip to the American Midwest Conference (AMC) tournament, taking Park University to penalty kicks for the decision (loss 6-5). Lenhardt also tabbed his first ever First-Team All-Conference selection in Cathy Tram. The Bulldogs finished the season 5-11-3 (3-5-2 AMC).

In Lenhardt's first season (2012-13), the women posted a 1-16-1 record, picking up their first conference win in school history.

Lenhardt comes from an extensive history of club soccer coaching experience, mainly in the greater Chicagoland area. Lenhardt has had stints with Alliance FC (now Chicago Magic North), Sports Camps of America, Fichte Rams Men, MVP United, and most recently, SSA Energie, where he is currently the Director of Coaching.

A NJCAA All-American in 2002 at McHenry County College and an All-American at NAIA men’s soccer powerhouse St. Xavier University, Lenhardt earned a degree in secondary education/history. After college, Lenhardt pursued his club career with German club SC Freiburg.

A Cary Grove High School graduate, Lenhardt was a member of Illinois ODP and Chicago Wind Soccer Club. Lenhardt now resides in Springfield, Ill.
