Springfield, Ill.~ The Patriots of Morthland College (Ill.) took back their early season loss, returning the favor to the Bulldogs in the form of 99-90 decision on Saturday afternoon.

Even though four Bulldogs reached double figures on the night, the Patriots were ready and would hold the lead at the half and much through the second to pick up the win. Clavontae Brown led the charge with 25 points, followed by 14 points a piece by Darius Stallworth and Stephan Shepherd and a career-high 12 point game from Reggie Kindle.

The Patriots outshot the Bulldogs from the floor (71.1% to 61.4%) and handed BenU Springfield their 15th loss on the year. The Bulldogs face Harris-Stowe State University on the road on Thursday, February 19th and return home for their final home game of the regular season on Saturday. Senior Day will also be held on Saturday prior to tipoff.
